Almost 40 Years of Experience
Jon McPike is a seasoned executive, hospital CEO, leadership strategist, and entrepreneur whose career spans nearly 40 years. Jon’s leadership career began in 1987 at a small nursing home in Texas while attending Dallas Baptist University. Early in his professional journey, Jon discovered leadership was his true calling. Within a year, he was immersed in the realities of frontline healthcare, developing a passion for guiding teams through complexity with clarity and purpose.
Throughout his career, Jon has held multi-level leadership positions in the post-acute and hospital sectors. He served as Administrator, Chief Operating Officer, Hospital CEO, as well as Owner/Operator. Across roles and settings, he has consistently delivered proven, high impact results. Under his leadership, the hospital received awards for Clinical Excellence, Patient Satisfaction, and Employee Satisfaction. During his tenure as CEO, the hospital achieved the #1 re-licensure survey outcome in its market and ranked sixth nationally in survey performance. It was also awarded the prestigious Stroke Center of Excellence designation while in the midst of completing a large scale capital renovation project of a historic building.
As an entrepreneur, Jon and his wife founded and scaled multiple ventures, including multiple newly constructed senior living communities, a rehabilitation company, and a management company. Each entity earned recognition as Best of by U.S. News & World Report, along with multiple “Best of the Best” awards for senior care, rehabilitation, and ambulatory services. Beyond metrics and growth, these outcomes represent more than execution and results. They reflect his steady commitment to quality excellence, integrity, and values-driven leadership.
